Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions through this site - using our services confirms your acceptance of these.

Purchasing

We advise clients to obtain a sample of their chosen fabric, wallpaper or trimming , to ensure that you are happy with this item before ordering - see later for returns policy. Shades can sometimes vary slightly between samples and batches - if the colour match is critical, please ask us to order you a ‘stock cutting’ of the current batch when placing your order.

All prices include VAT at the standard UK rate of 17.5%.

Quotations are valid for 7 days.

We have a minimum order amount of 2 metres, however, discounts available will vary with quantity ordered and between different fabric companies. Fabrics are supplied in whole metres only.

Fabrics to be used for Upholstery need to comply with the Furniture and Furnishing Fire Safety regulations which came into force in 1988. If they do not meet regulations, your Upholsterer may be able to use an Interliner or barrier cloth, or we can arrange to have the cloth Fire Retardanted for you. This FR process will usually cost approximately 2.50 per metre. Also available is the additional process of Scotch Guarding carried out at the same time, for an additional 2.50 per metre of fabric. Please state when ordering which processes you require. If we are to carry out the re upholstery for you, then we shall only be able to do the work if the fabric has been treated to comply with Current FR safety Regulation.

Delivery

There is a delivery charge of £12 for delivery per item within mainland UK. For all other destinations, please e mail us for a delivery quotation. Delivery is charged by the fabric companies, and as your order has already been heavily discounted, we're afraid that we can’t absorb this charge also.

Delivery is usually within 7 working days, however, this will be confirmed with you when placing the order.

All delivery times are approximate and we will not be held liable for any compensation as a result.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK-IN CURTAIN MAKERS, UPHOLSTERERS OR DECORATORS, AS APPLICABLE, UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE GOODS.

Occasionally, items can be damaged in transit.  In these circumstances, it is important that you have written “PACKAGE DAMAGED” on the delivery note to ensure claims will be accepted.

If you become aware that your order is damaged it is important that you leave the item as it is in its original packaging and contact us immediately either by email or telephone. Please include details regarding the nature of the damage.  We will make every effort to ensure that the item is replaced as quickly as possible whilst keeping you fully informed of progress.
